Job-seekers in Nigeria might soon heave a sigh of relief, as the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture has revealed that it has initiated a move to create job centres in strategic locations across the country.
The President of the association, Chief Alaba Lawson noted that the centres which would be built in partnership with an undisclosed private firm are aimed at generating employment opportunities for millions of young Nigerians who do not have any source of income.
The job centres, according to Lawson will not be mere registration points; rather, they will be designed to identify job-seekers and train them them to acquire relevant skills in the construction industry and other sectors of the economy.
