Nigeria Stock Exchange and Bloomberg have called for increased innovative tendencies among economic agents notwithstanding the current economic recession plaguing the nation.
This is coming as the duo set to host third CEO Roundtable in Lagos by May 31.
This year’s NSE Bloomberg CEO Roundtable is themed, “Innovating out of Nigeria’s recession: Exploring new paradigms for Nigeria’s economic growth”.
According to the NSE, it will address the topical issue of resource dependency and the alignment of the economic recovery plan as well as roadmap to insulate the Nigerian economy from the shocks that come with it.
The forum will bring together thought leaders with a wide range of perspectives on the economy, from the financial, agriculture, manufacturing, academic and public sectors, and will be headlined by the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, the bourse.
The programme is expected to feature a keynote presentation, panel discussions and insightful research and analysis on the Nigerian economy from a Bloomberg economist. Confirmed speakers for the event include: Chief Executive Officer, NSE, Oscar Onyema; Senior Lecturer, Lagos Business School, Dr. Doyin Salami; Founder and CEO, Main One, Funke Opeke; CEO, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Dr. Demola Sogunle, among others.
