Desserts make everything better! and this chocolate peanut-butter parfait is the best end to any meal but also works great when you’re craving something sweet. We can never get tired of the chocolate and peanut butter combo, so much possibilities!
For the chocolate cream – Chop your semi-sweet chocolate to fill up ½ a cup if you do not have chocolate chips. Pour this into a bowl. Heat up ¾ cup whipping (heavy) cream until it bubbles and then pour it over the chocolate. Leave for about 5 minutes and stir until smooth. Put in the refrigerator to chill for a while. Once this is done whisk (or use an electric mixer to beat) until fluffy and smooth. Set aside in the fridge.
For the peanut-butter cream – Whip ½ cup milk until stiff peaks form. Mix in sugar and keep whisking. Gently fold in the peanut butter.
To assemble – Firstly layer crumbled digestive in each glass. Then add in some of the peanut butter cream and the chocolate cream next. Next in the layer is whipped cream (optional). Repeat the layer and top up with whipped cream.
Garnish with biscuit (optional).
