Pulse the rodo in a blender until chopped finely. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Boil the mixture and allow to simmer on low heat for about 1 hour. Make sure to leave uncovered and stir continuously.
Allow to cool down. Use immediately or refrigerate.
