Make the sweet potato puree first. Peel the sweet potato and cut into half and place face down on a baking sheet. Roast at 400 degrees F for about 25 minutes or until soft. Allow to cool.
Add ½-1 cup of ice cubes and all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
Taste and adjust sweetness of smoothie with sugar or honey.
Serve in a glass or smoothie cup and sprinkle with cinnamon powder (optional).
