Hey there whiskey lovers! This drink is just for you! We added a bit of a tang for that extra flavour to achieve this classic drink. With this recipe, you turn your whiskey into the perfect summer drink. Get your bar attending hat on and get mixing!
If you don’t already have simple syrup prepare this by mixing 1 part water and 1 part sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Keep stirring until the sugar dissolves. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes but stir every now and then. Allow to cool and refrigerate for about 4 hours.
Cut the lemon into wedges and muddle one wedge in a cocktail shaker. Add in ¾ ounce simple syrup and ice cubes. Shake well.
Strain into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lemon wheel and 4 mint leaves.
